Off-Base Transition Training:

If you're a veteran, a veteran currently serving the National Guard or Reserve, or a spouse of a veteran. The OBTT is a program filled with virtual and in-person workshops to join to focus on what career path you wish to evaluate and what steps to take to get to your desired career. These workshops aim to focus on topics such as job search tactics,  interview skills, federal hiring process, LinkedIn profiles, employment rights, resume essentials and how to create one and much more.

OBTT employment workshops are offering two in person workshops this September to the Veteran community in Sacramento, North Highlands and Rancho Cordova.

FAQ For OBTT:

 

• Is the training exclusively for reserve personnel, or does it extend to off-duty personnel? - Training is geared towards Veterans, National Guard/Reserve & military spouses. Also, trainings are open to the public - OBTT will not turn anyone away.
• What is the expected duration of the training? - Each interactive workshop is 2 hours, with short breaks in between. Attendees will be provided quality workbooks (no-cost) to fill & take notes and keep for their future reference.
• Do you have to attend the entire day - all workshops? - It's your choice depending on your schedule and interest, you can sign up for all workshops or sign up for just a specific workshop.
• Is there a fee? - These workshops are no-cost for the attendees. You earned it!
